Restrictions on Social Apps
- The limitations that are mentioned here are caused by restrictions from social network APIs that we had to work around when developing this script.
- Only Facebook sites, groups, or users who are connected to the script’s script can be accessed via the feed. For information on how to link your Facebook account to the script, see this page.
- Protect my Tweets should not be enabled on a Twitter account.
- Only posts from the previous 7 days can be retrieved by the Twitter keyword search API. In other words, no tweets older than one week will be discovered when you get a feed using a hashtag or search term.
- The image info for retweets is not provided by the Twitter API.
- Only the Instagram accounts you’ve linked to the script’s feed are available. For information on how to link your Instagram account to the script, see this page.
- When viewing a feed on Instagram, you can query a maximum of 30 distinct hashtags on behalf of an Instagram Business or Creator Account within a rolling 7-day timeframe.
- The initial shared item will not appear in re-shared content on Pinterest.
Requirements:
- The PHP version needed for the script must be 7.2.5 or greater.
- PHP’s multibyte string extension AND the iconv extension are both necessary for this application (enabled by default).
