Many times you may require to change your e-mail password. It is recommended that you change your password frequently - at least once a month. It is also recommended that you use a hard-to-guess password.
It is very easy to change your email password through cPanel webmail. To change the password, follow these steps:
- Login to your webmail account (Example:
http://www.example.com/webmail) - From the webmail home, click on the Change Password icon.
- Now enter your new password in the provided field and click on change button.
Note: If you have configured your e-mail account in Outlook Express, MS Outlook or any other e-mail client, and configured it to remember the password, then you will have to change it to the new password.
